Basketball Game Preview: Newnan Cougars vs. Creekside Seminoles

The Newnan Cougars and the Creekside Seminoles will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Newnan is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Langston Hughes just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Creekside was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They had to suffer through a 88-23 loss at the hands of Jackson. The Seminoles haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Newnan's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Creekside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.
