Softball Recap: East Hall Vikings vs. Luella Lions        
        
		
             Luella typically has all the answers at home, but  on Friday East Hall proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Luella Lions 14-1. That looming  14-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this  season.
  Amari Burce made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Burce was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news, East Hall let  Kaylana Curry and  Elaina Hendrix loose on the outfield. Curry  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Hendrix  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. What's more,  Hendrix also racked up two  hits, the mostshe's  had since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Kyleigh Kytle, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, East Hall was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .421. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Luella only posted a  batting average of  .091.
 The  win was  the third in a row for East Hall, bringing their record for this year to 13-17. As for Luella, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-5.
 East Hall will have a chance to go back-to-back against Luella: the pair will be back at it again later today.
