Volleyball Recap: Fremd Comes Up Short

Fremd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barrington Fillies/Broncos. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fillies/Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20.

Fremd's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Barrington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fremd is set to take on their familiar foe Hoffman Estates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Barrington will face off against rival Conant at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
