Softball Recap: Williamson Warriors vs. Corning-Painted Post Hawks

Williamson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-5 to the Corning-Painted Post Hawks.

Kenna Thomas was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and seven unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). Thomas has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Thomas was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
