Baseball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 13-4 to the Sanger West Hornets.

Anthony Cobian made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Aiden Becerra was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Sanger West, their record now sits at 3-10.

Coming up, Edison will challenge Clovis at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Sanger West, they will face off against Sanger at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Apaches will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
