Soccer Game Preview: South Florence vs. Lower Richland

The South Florence Bruins are taking a road trip to face off against the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Florence has four straight wins, Lower Richland has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

While South Florence didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They beat Wilson by a goal, winning 4-3.

Meanwhile, Lower Richland scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Lakewood, falling 9-3. Lower Richland were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-2.

Lower Richland's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South Florence, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
