Soccer Recap: Radford Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Radford was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Glenvar Highlanders, falling 4-0. The defeat continues a trend for Radford in their meetings with Glenvar: they've now lost seven in a row.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 9-2. As for Glenvar, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

Coming up, Radford will venture away from home to challenge Blacksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Blacksburg will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Radford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glenvar, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Alleghany on the 8th.
