Baseball Recap: Pine City Takes a Loss

Pine City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Mora Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 two weeks ago.

Pine City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mora, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mora beat Pine City by a score of 15-2 later that day.
