North Surry typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Forbush proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Greyhounds, sneaking past 13-12. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Konner Sizemore looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Forbush let Dylan McClamrock and Aaron Hutchens run wild. McClamrock went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Hutchens got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
