Softball Recap: Richlands Wildcats vs. Harnett Central Trojans

With a playoff game on the line, Richlands rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Harnett Central Trojans and snuck past 9-7. The win was familiar territory for Richlands who now have ten in a row.

Makenzie Goin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances.
