Basketball Recap: North Kissimmee Christian's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

North Kissimmee Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 78-71 victory over the Landmark Christian Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Kissimmee Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Owes, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 17 points in addition to eight assists and seven boards. With that strong performance, Owes is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Noah Flagg, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

North Kissimmee Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

North Kissimmee Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Landmark Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Kissimmee Christian will square off against Berean Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Landmark Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Family Christian Academy on December 9.
