            Football Recap: St. Bonaventure Seraphs vs. Bishop Diego Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            The matchup between St. Bonaventure and Bishop Diego  on Friday hardly resembled the  21-6 effort from their previous meeting. The Seraphs took  a  35-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Seraphs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.

 St. Bonaventure didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Jason Homan and  Jeremiah Barrios. Homan is also crushing it when it comes to  total tackles: he's   made at least nine every time he's  taken the field this season. Barrios got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
  Oscar Anoai Mauia was a one-man wrecking crew For Bishop Diego. as he rushed for 120 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. That's the most  rushing yards  Anoai Mauia has posted since back in August.  Samuel Boeddeker got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.
St. Bonaventure now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Bishop Diego,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Bonaventure will take on Camarillo at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Seraphs are facing the Scorpions at the right time seeing as the Scorpions are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Bishop Diego, they will face off against Pacifica at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Cardinals' defense better be ready for this one: the Tritons have averaged an impressive 37.6  points per game this season.
