Softball Recap: Logan County Takes a Loss

Logan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 10-7 to the Butler County Bears. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Logan County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Henson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Ellie Celsor was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Logan County's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Butler County, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-24 record.

Looking ahead, Logan County will square off against Barren County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Butler County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
