Softball Recap: Parkway Continues Home Dominance on Friday

While Parkway's victory against Shawnee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Indians 2-1. The win was just business as usual for the Panthers, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Parkway pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 4.6 runs across that stretch. As for Shawnee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Parkway will head out to square off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shawnee, they will welcome Fort Recovery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Shawnee will need to watch out since Fort Recovery has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
