Niangua hadn't done well against Conway recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cardinals walked away with a 39-32 win over the Bears. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 53-48 victory the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

Niangua's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Conway, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5.
