Softball Recap: Kinston Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

While Kinston put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Florala. The Bulldogs blew past the Wildcats 16-0. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 18 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Kinston's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Florala, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kinston will welcome Pleasant Home at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Florala, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Greenville at 4:00 p.m.
