Basketball Recap: Marcus Parker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Pisgah

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, Puckett was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Pisgah Dragons with points to spare, taking the game 66-49. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 60-53 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Puckett got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marcus Parker out in front who posted 31 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Parker has scored at least a third of Puckett's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Russell, who had 19 points.

Puckett's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Pisgah, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Puckett will take on Pelahatchie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pisgah, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
