Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Isabel). They took down the Grulla Gators 51-33 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tarpons with their most commanding win of the season.

With the victory, Port Isabel broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11. As for Grulla, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Port Isabel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-49 defeat against Hidalgo on the 14th. Grulla has also already played their next contest, a 35-31 win against Valley View on the 14th.
