Softball Recap: Rising Tide Comes Up Short

Rising Tide lost against Sturgis East back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Rising Tide fell 17-13 to Sturgis East. Rising Tide has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amari Holley stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-6 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Hannah Anderson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.

Rising Tide's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Rising Tide will venture away from home to face off against Cape Cod RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sturgis East, they will face off against Monomoy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
