Freedom is a perfect 6-0 against Osbourn since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Freedom will be playing in front of their home fans against Osbourn at 6:00 p.m. Freedom is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Freedom gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Osbourn Park by a score of 7-4. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Yellowjackets on their field since May 18, 2022.

Riley Picinich spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Emory Picinich was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jordan Miller was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Osbourn's offense. They lost 17-0 to Hylton on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Osbourn's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Freedom, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Osbourn's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Freedom has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Osbourn, though, as they've been averaging 9.1 hits. Given Freedom's sizable advantage in that area, Osbourn will need to find a way to close that gap.

Freedom took their victory against Osbourn in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 10-0 score. Does Freedom have another victory up their sleeve, or will Osbourn turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
