Soccer Game Preview: Toppenish vs. Grandview

The Toppenish Wildcats will face off against the Grandview Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Toppenish's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Toppenish is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Ellensburg on Tuesday. Toppenish and Ellensburg finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Grandview fell victim to East Valley and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 1-0. Grandview haven't had much luck with East Valley recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Toppenish's draw makes their record 1-3-1 this season. As for Grandview, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Toppenish skirted past Grandview 2-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2019. Does Toppenish have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grandview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
