Volleyball Recap: Upson-Lee Gets the Win

Upson-Lee won the last time they faced Spalding and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jaguars.

Upson-Lee easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18.

Amiya Cromer paced Upson-Lee's offense, picking up five kills. Cromer got some help from Aubrey Tucker and her six assists. Ema Deems controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Upson-Lee's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Spalding, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Upson-Lee has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Lamar County on the 14th. As for Spalding, they will take on Griffin on Wednesday.
