Recap: Moundridge Wildcats vs. Chaparral Roadrunners
The Moundridge Wildcats stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Everything went their way against Chaparral as Moundridge made off with a 56-30 victory. The victory was nothing new for Moundridge as they're now sitting on four straight.
Moundridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macy Kaminkow, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Addy Patrick was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from Kaylee Swartz, who scored four points along with seven steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avry Carothers, who scored six points.
Moundridge's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Chaparral, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Belle Plaine the next time they take the court. Moundridge will host the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Roadrunners will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
