Basketball Recap: State Line Christian Comes Up Short

State Line Christian lost against Monclova Christian Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The State Line Christian Patriots lost 80-60 to the Monclova Christian Academy Thunder. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered since February 20, 2024.

Koltin Shank was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 32 points and ten rebounds for Monclova Christian Academy. With that strong performance, Shank is now averaging an impressive 15.9 points per game. Another player making a difference was Kip Shank, who posted 19 points and five boards.

State Line Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Monclova Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

State Line Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-42 loss against HomeSchool Resource Center on the 6th. As for Monclova Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 64-39 win against Northwest Ohio Classical Academy on the 7th.
