St. Paul came out on top against Mapleton on Friday thanks in part to Landon Fries's efforts. The Mounties had no answer to Fries as he rushed for 87 yards and two TDs on only five carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards and one score. Fries is becoming a predictor of St. Paul's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Fries and St. Paul will look to defend their home field on Friday against Monroeville at 7:00 p.m. Fries will face off against Connor Bores, the Eagles' star running back. These two stars should make plenty of fireworks, so fans can expect an exciting show. Which one brings home the W? There's only one way to know for sure.
