After losing to Mergenthaler Vo-Tech the last time they met, Forest Park decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Foresters had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 3-2. That's two games straight that Forest Park have won by just one goal.

Jonathan Hernandez and Samuel Aguiar Gomez scored all three of Forest Park's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win made it two in a row for Forest Park and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Forest Park didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Lewis on the 26th. As for Mergenthaler Vo-Tech, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Douglass at 3:45 p.m. on October 8.
