Volleyball Recap: Mammoth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mammoth can now relate to. They came up short against the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Huskies have suffered since November 5, 2024.

Mammoth was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Mammoth lost, don't look at Aspen Wight. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and two assists. Wight is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Mammoth's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 37-6-1. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-21-1.

Mammoth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Immanuel on the 22nd.
