Basketball Game Preview: Antioch Bears vs. Hillsboro Burros

Antioch hasn't had much luck against Hillsboro recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Antioch Bears will face off against the Hillsboro Burros at 8:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Antioch didn't have too much trouble with Cane Ridge as they won 71-55. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bobcats 63-26. The Burros have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Antioch's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Hillsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 27-5.

Antioch came up short against Hillsboro in their previous meeting on Monday, falling 44-33. Can Antioch avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
