Soccer Recap: Trinity Falls to Clearview

After flying high against Conneaut on Thursday, Trinity came back down to earth. The Trojans fell 4-2 to the Clearview Clippers on Monday.

Trinity has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 10 of their last 13 matches, dating back to last year. That leaves them at a 1-8-2 record this season. Clearview's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11.

Trinity and Clearview could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Trojans will face off against Beachwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (#581 vs. #210). Meanwhile, Clearview (ranked 582nd) will meet Columbia (ranked 230th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
