Basketball Recap: Maranatha Takes a Loss

Maranatha lost against Providence back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Minutemen took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers.

Maranatha's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Providence, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Maranatha will take on St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Providence, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oak Park at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
