Basketball Recap: Weston Victorious

After losing to Claiborne Christian the last time they met, Weston decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Weston Wolves snuck past the Claiborne Christian Crusaders with a 53-49 victory on Monday.

Weston's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Claiborne Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.

Weston won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Haughton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Haughton will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Weston surely won't give up without a fight. As for Claiborne Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Dodson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Claiborne Christian's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Dodson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
