Volleyball Recap: Durand-Arkansaw Takes a Loss

Durand-Arkansaw lost against Eleva-Strum back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ella Sinz paced Durand-Arkansaw's offense, picking up five kills. Sinz were helped by Gabby Sailer and Kennedy Garner, who contributed five assists each. Sailer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Durand-Arkansaw's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Eleva-Strum, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Durand-Arkansaw wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Whitehall on the 11th. As for Eleva-Strum, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Osseo-Fairchild on the 11th.
