Baseball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Centennial was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to the Seward Bluejays. The contest marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Centennial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Hinze, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Centennial dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Seward, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Seward will both be playing Lincoln Lutheran the next time they take the field. The Bluejays will head out to face the Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Broncos will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
