Basketball Recap: Triton Mustangs vs. Gloucester City Lions
Triton lost against Gloucester City back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Triton Mustangs took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gloucester City Lions. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gloucester City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keegan Cohan led the charge by going 5 for 9 on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Flagg, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points.
Triton's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Gloucester City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.
