Football Game Preview: Archbishop McNicholas Rockets vs. Chillicothe Cavaliers

The Archbishop McNicholas Rockets will square off against the Chillicothe Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chillicothe took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Archbishop McNicholas, who comes in off a win.

Archbishop McNicholas will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Badin, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rockets walked away with a 17-10 win over the Rams on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Rockets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Rams are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Chillicothe finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were outmatched by Jackson and fell 35-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Cavaliers were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped Chillicothe's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Archbishop McNicholas, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-4.
