Volleyball Recap: Quakertown Panthers vs. Central Bucks South Titans
Quakertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Central Bucks South Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.
Quakertown was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 28-26.
Owen Reinford paced Quakertown's offense, picking up 13 kills. Reinford got some help from Sean Gillin and his 21 assists.
Quakertown's loss dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for Central Bucks South, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quakertown will venture away from home to challenge Downingtown East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Bucks South, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Upper Dublin at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
