Baseball Game Preview: Ector Eagles vs. Saint Jo Panthers

The Ector Eagles will head out to challenge the Saint Jo Panthers at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Ector and Trenton, and Ector kept the tradition alive. Ector came up short against Trenton on Monday, falling 13-2.

Meanwhile, Saint Jo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 5-1 to Sam Rayburn.

Saint Jo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Forrester, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Ector suffered a grim 12-3 defeat to Saint Jo in their previous matchup back in May of 2021. Can Ector avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
