Basketball Recap: Clearbrook-Gonvick Comes Up Short

Clearbrook-Gonvick lost against Warren-Alvarado-Oslo back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears were beaten by the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies 80-36. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Ponies are ranked 81st).

This is the second loss in a row for Clearbrook-Gonvick and nudges their season record down to 5-11. As for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

Clearbrook-Gonvick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-31 defeat against Ada-Borup/Norman County West on the 30th. Warren-Alvarado-Oslo has also already played their next match, a 65-21 win against Stephen-Argyle Central on the 30th.
