Basketball Recap: Illinois Valley Central Takes a Loss

Illinois Valley Central lost against Rockridge back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts lost to the Rockridge Rockets on the road by a 66-47 margin. While losing is never fun, the Grey Ghosts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Rockets are ranked 106th).

This is the second loss in a row for Illinois Valley Central and nudges their season record down to 13-18. As for Rockridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Illinois Valley Central nor Rockridge have any future games scheduled.
