Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Patriots vs. Mercer Island Islanders

The Liberty Patriots will head out to challenge the Mercer Island Islanders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercer Island took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Liberty, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Liberty took their matchup with ease, bagging a 66-32 win over Interlake. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mercer Island lost to Eastlake at home by a 66-48 margin on Tuesday.

Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Mercer Island, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Liberty came up short against Mercer Island when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 62-56.
