Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hodgson Vo-Tech). They put the hurt on the McKean Highlanders with a sharp 27-5 win on Thursday. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Hodgson Vo-Tech and bumps their season record up to 8-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for McKean, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, Hodgson Vo-Tech will head out on the road to square off against Mount Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for McKean, they have already played their next matchup, a 22-10 loss against Newark on the 10th.
