Foundation Academy had won five straight home games dating back to last season and Sam Wood did his part to make it six on Friday. The Lions really took it to the Master's Academy Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-7 win with plenty of help from Wood, who rushed for 154 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 100.4 rushing yards per game.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Foundation Academy's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Anthony Jaconetti and Ethan Pate, who racked up six sacks between them.

Foundation Academy's record now sits at 6-2. As for Master's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Foundation Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 37-34 victory against Cocoa Beach on the 17th. As for Master's Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 47-14 defeat against Space Coast on the 17th.
