Foundation Academy extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Sam Wood. The Lions blew past the Master's Academy Patriots 35-7 on Friday for which the team can thank Wood, who rushed for 154 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 100.4 rushing yards per game.

Foundation Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Master's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Foundation Academy will face off against Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Minutemen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Master's Academy, they will challenge Space Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vipers' defense has only allowed 9.4 points per game this season, so the Patriots' offense will have their work cut out for them.
