Baseball Recap: Nashua South Takes a Loss

Nashua South suffered their closest defeat since April 21st on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Londonderry Lancers by a score of 10-8. The Purple Panthers have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Leo Depaolo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Nashua South is 2-1 when Depaolo posts two or more runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Jack Ninteau also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Nashua South's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Londonderry, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3-1 record this season.
