You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Rowlett's strategy against North Garland on Friday. The Rowlett Eagles enjoyed a cozy 46-28 victory over the North Garland Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-28 back in December of 2024.

Rowlett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kristyn Galloway, who posted nine points and four steals. Amyah Jones was another key player, putting up four points and four steals.

Rowlett was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Garland only posted four assists.

When it comes to explaining why North Garland lost, don't look at Alaa Al Mzayen. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points and three steals. Ashlan Reed also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rowlett moved to 12-20 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for North Garland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.
