Recap: Calvary Christian Cougar vs. Scotland Christian Academy Saints
Even though the Scotland Christian Academy Saints scored an imposing 75 points on Friday, the Calvary Christian Cougar still came out on top. Calvary Christian took their match against Scotland Christian Academy 85-75. The win made it back-to-back wins for Calvary Christian.
Several Saints players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kadin Bryson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tavon Farmer, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.
Calvary Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Scotland Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-6.
Calvary Christian and White Plains Christian will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Scotland Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Thomas Academy at 6:00 p.m.
