Volleyball Recap: Central Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Central Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Southwestern Rebels.

Hillarie Buchanan was a one-woman wrecking crew For Southwestern. as she had nine aces and three digs. Those nine aces gave Buchanan a new career-high.

Central Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Southwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season.

Central Christian Academy will challenge Indianapolis Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwestern, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on the 11th.
