Tellico Plains is 10-0 against Sweetwater since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tellico Plains Bears will welcome the Sweetwater Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Tellico Plains came up short against Roane County and fell 68-59. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 82-30, which was the final score in Sweetwater's tilt against McMinn Central on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Chargers are ranked ninth).

Tellico Plains' loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Sweetwater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Everything went Tellico Plains' way against Sweetwater in their previous meeting back in January, as Tellico Plains made off with a 71-47 victory. Will Tellico Plains repeat their success, or does Sweetwater have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
