Clearwater Valley extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 9-5 in the process. Everything went their way against the Kendrick Tigers as they made off with a 13-4 victory. Considering the Rams have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Evalie Schuster was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Jesse Rice was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Clearwater Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .578. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in nine consecutive matchups.

As for Kendrick, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered against Clearwater Valley since May 1, 2023.

On Kendrick's side, Ashna Casto made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lily Hanson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clearwater Valley beat Kendrick by a score of 11-8 later that day.
