Soccer Recap: Medway Takes a Loss

Medway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the Bellingham Blackhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bellingham this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in September.

Medway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Bellingham, their victory ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-8-2.

Medway and Bellingham could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Mustangs (ranked 280th) will meet Nipmuc Regional (ranked 92nd) at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bellingham will challenge King Philip Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (262 vs. 40).
